Please complete the form with as much or as little detail as you'd like. I'll respond within 1 business day.
Every business is different, so I don't give you a price before I understand what you actually need. We'll talk about your business, what's going on with your books and anything else that may need attention.
1. We Talk
We'll go over what your business does, what kind of bookkeeping help you're looking for, how many bank and credit card accounts you have, whether you have payroll or contractors, and what you're currently using to keep track of everything.
We'll also talk about any tax notices, past-due filings, payroll issues, sales tax, audits or other situations you're dealing with so I know the whole picture.
2. I Take a Look
If you're already using QuickBooks Online, I'll have you invite me through Accountant Access so I can poke around and see what's actually going on. I'll look for anything that stands out and get a better idea of how much work is involved.
No QuickBooks? That's okay too. We'll figure out what makes sense for your business.
3. I Give You a Plan & Estimate
Once I've seen what we're working with, I'll explain what I think needs to be done, what I can handle, and what it's going to cost.
If something needs to be handled by your CPA, tax preparer, attorney, insurance agent or another professional, I'll tell you that too. I'm not going to pretend something is in my lane when it isn't.
4. Ready to Get Started?
Once I understand what you need, I'll give you an estimate for the work. My project estimates are soft estimates because sometimes additional issues don't show up until I start digging into the books.
If I find something that could change the scope or cost of the project, I'll reach out right away to explain what I found and discuss it with you before moving forward. NO SURPRISE BILLS!
For cleanup, catch-up, setup and other project work, 50% of the estimate is due to get started, with the remaining balance due when the project is complete.
